Internet Explorer 10 and NWSChat Live

NWSChat Live is a pure web browser chat client for NWSChat. Unfortunately, there is an incompatibility with the Internet Explorer version 10 (IE10) web browser. We hope to fix up NWSChat Live to fully support IE10 in the coming weeks, but in the interim there is a workaround.

Enable Compatibility View: This setting within IE10 will allow NWSChat Live to function properly. A simple way to enable it is to click on the little document icon in the address bar of IE10. This icon has a small squiggle line through it as well. Clicking on this icon should also 'stick' between uses of the browser and this website.

Sorry about this issue and again, we hope to resolve it soon in the coming weeks.

P.S. The technical issue is that the foundation javascript library of EXTJS is older than the release of IE10. The updated Live version will have an updated version of EXTJS, which should resolve these problems.
