THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN TAUNTON HAS EXTENDED THE

* FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  CENTRAL HARTFORD COUNTY IN NORTHERN CONNECTICUT...

* UNTIL 830 AM EDT

* AT 415 AM EDT...THE NORTH BRANCH OF THE PARK RIVER WAS IN MINOR 
  FLOOD. ITS LEVEL WAS AT 9.2 FEET AND IT SHOULD CREST NEAR 9.5 FEET 
  EARLY THIS MORNING. FLOOD STAGE IS 8 FEET. LOWLAND FLOODING WILL 
  CONTINUE...INCLUDING A SECTION OF THE PARKING LOTS AT THE 
  UNIVERSITY OF HARTFORD CAMPUS. 

  IN ADDITION...BUNNELL BROOK IN BURLINGTON WAS AT ITS FLOOD STAGE 
  OF 7 FEET. IT WILL CREST NEAR 7.2 FEET EARLY THIS MORNING...
  RESULTING IN LOWLAND FLOODING.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT SMALL STREAM FLOODING IS OCCURRING. 
DO NOT DRIVE THROUGH FLOODED ROADS.
