...FORECAST SERVICES AND FLOOD CRITERIA CHANGE FOR SAN BERNARD
RIVER AT SWEENY TX...

ON SEPTEMBER 10TH 2018 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE WILL MIGRATE
FORECAST SERVICES FROM THE STAFF GAUGE AT THE PHILLIPS 66 TERMINAL
ON THE SAN BERNARD RIVER (SWYT2) TO THE NEW AUTOMATED GAUGE AT HWY
35 (OCNT2), APPROXIMATELY 5 MILES UPSTREAM. 

IN CONJUNCTION THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE WILL CHANGE THE FLOOD
CRITERIA TO REFLECT THE NEW GAUGE, A DATUM SHIFT, AND ADDITIONAL
SURVEYED IMPACTS. THE NEW FLOOD CRITERIA WILL BE BASED ON THE
FOLLOWING:
ACTION STAGE: 7.0 FEET
FLOOD STAGE: 10.0 FEET
MODERATE STAGE: 16.0 FEET
MAJOR STAGE: 19.0 FEET
