THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF THE MISSOURI
OZARKS AND EXTREME SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED...

  ELEVATED HAIL RISK.
  ELEVATED THUNDERSTORM WIND DAMAGE RISK.
  LIMITED FLOODING RISK.
  LIMITED LIGHTNING RISK.

DISCUSSION...

SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TODAY AND TONIGHT WITH THE 
GREATEST COVERAGE OF THUNDERSTORMS FROM THIS AFTERNOON INTO THIS 
EVENING.

SOME OF THE STORMS MAY BECOME SEVERE THIS AFTERNOON AND THIS
EVENING, ESPECIALLY NORTH OF INTERSTATE 44 AND EAST OF U.S. 65.
HAIL UP TO TWO INCHES IN DIAMETER AND DAMAGING WIND GUSTS WILL BE
THE PRIMARY POTENTIAL SEVERE WEATHER HAZARDS.

FREQUENT LIGHTNING AND LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL CAN ALSO BE EXPECTED
WITH THESE STORMS. THERE WILL BE A LIMITED RISK FOR FLASH FLOODING
IN AREAS THAT SEE MULTIPLE STORMS AND WHERE SOILS REMAIN 
EXTREMELY SATURATED.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY.

MULTIPLE ROUNDS OF THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED ACROSS THE OUTLOOK
AREA FOR MUCH OF NEXT WEEK. WHILE IT IS TOO EARLY TO TELL WHERE 
THUNDERSTORMS WILL TRACK, A RENEWED RISK FOR FLOODING MAY
MATERIALIZE OVER PARTS OF THE OUTLOOK AREA.
