THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTHEAST AND NORTH CENTRAL
COLORADO.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

IT WILL BE WARM AND WINDY TODAY. STRONG WIND GUSTS ARE EXPECTED 
ACROSS THE HIGHER ELEVATIONS, WITH A FEW GUSTS UP TO 65 MPH 
POSSIBLE. CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED TO DEVELOP
THIS AFTERNOON OVER THE SOUTHERN FOOTHILLS, PALMER DIVIDE, AND 
URBAN CORRIDOR AS A RESULT OF VERY DRY AND BREEZY CONDITIONS. AN 
APPROACHING STORM SYSTEM WILL BRING AN INCREASING CHANCE OF SNOW 
SHOWERS TO THE HIGH COUNTRY THIS AFTERNOON INTO TONIGHT. A COLD 
FRONT WILL USHER IN MUCH COOLER TEMPERATURES TO THE PLAINS 
OVERNIGHT TONIGHT, ALONG WITH A SLIGHT CHANCE OF A SNOW SHOWER.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY

TEMPERATURES WILL BE MUCH COLDER ON WEDNESDAY, BUT SKIES WILL BE
CLEARING. THURSDAY MORNING WILL BE THE COLDEST MORNING SO FAR THIS
WINTER, WITH LOWS MAINLY IN THE TEENS AND SOME SINGLE DIGITS IN
THE COLDEST SPOTS. WARMER AND DRIER WEATHER IS THEN EXPECTED 
THROUGH THIS WEEKEND WITH JUST A SLIGHT CHANCE OF LIGHT SHOWERS IN
THE MOUNTAINS. DRY AND BREEZY CONDITIONS ON THURSDAY COULD RESULT
IN ELEVATED TO NEAR-CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS IN THE 
MOUNTAINS AND FOOTHILLS BELOW 10,000 FT DURING THE AFTERNOON.
