RAPID KENAI RIVER FREEZE UP BELOW THE STERLING HIGHWAY BRIDGE. THE

PROGRESSES FROM NEAR THE WARREN AMES BRIDGE UP RIVER TO SOLDOTNA.

REASON FOR NOTICE: RECENT COLD TEMPERATURES WITH CONTINUED COLDER
THAN NORMAL AIR TEMPERATURES FORECAST THROUGH THE WEEK.

EXPECTED IMPACTS: RESIDENTS ALONG KENAI RIVER BELOW THE STERLING
HIGHWAY BRIDGE SHOULD BE PREPARED FOR RAPID RIVER LEVEL INCREASES IF
ICE JAMS FORM DURING THE KENAI RIVER FREEZE UP PROCESS.
